Pray for Polanski, Klezwoods, Electric Simcha and Cradle to the Grave at TT’s: Pray for Polanski have a new album out! Also, Aviv will give you bear hugs if you listen to it. (I didn’t ask his permission before telling you to do that, but he’s a loveable guy.) On a related note, the band that broke out of BU delivered plenty of their trademark catchiness at TT’s last night. “9191991″ is fun to say. And equally fun to listen to. So do that!
Red Sox vs. Yankees at Fenway: Not your typical TMA pick, but Christoph and I had home plate standing room only seats to last night’s game and--as lifelong Massholes and obvious Red Sox fans--learned the perils of walking into the ball park without a shred of Sox paraphernalia on our bodies while hanging out with Yankees fans. We’re not braindead, I promise. Anyways, the Sox lost, which was sad, but Lackey isn’t pitching tonight--Beckett is!--so let’s keep our fingers crossed.
